Clare Tyers has developed a passion for Oral Surgery over the past 20 years.
She has a relaxed manner and builds a particularly good rapport with children or with anxious patients. Clare is skilled in the removal of all teeth, including Wisdom Teeth and a range of other specialised procedures.

Clare is an accomplished sedationist. She is a member of SAAD, and is very experienced working under IV sedation for those who are particularly anxious. She has an excellent team, who will monitor your wellbeing throughout the procedure and will ensure that you leave happy, being discharged with a friend or relative.
Other than removing teeth, including complicated Wisdom Teeth, Clare is experienced in treating patients requiring Oral Surgery prior to Orthodontics. For example, she excels in exposing unerupted teeth or performing frenectomies, which can be carried out traditionally or with the latest laser technology in her Private Practice.

Meet Clare
Clare qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1997 and spent a year in General Dental Practice before moving into the hospital service. She acquired her experience and surgical skills by working in several Oral Surgery departments across the East of England, and is currently based at Ipswich Hospital as a senior member of the Oral Surgery team. As a part of her role within the NHS, she trains recently qualified Dentists and runs courses to educate other local Dentists in the skills required to manage their own Oral Surgery patients.
